Texas Business Technologies is proud to launch our new blogs. These blogs are part of our mission to educate, inform, and perhaps entertain our customers and website visitors. The blogs were launched today. I want to welcome you and I hope you find our new blogs to be useful.
We have two blogs at this time. First is our Computer Tips & Tricks blog. We will use this blog to share our thoughts on products, technologies, problems, or general advice. If you have a question of any kind, send it to us using our contact us form and we will respond to you and post it to this blog if it makes sense to share the answers to your question. The most common questions we get are about antivirus software, spam, spyware, and firewalls. The simple answer is "yes, you do need these" and "they are all different security tools". Which brands to choose depends on a few things so we prefer to recommend to you based on how many computers, is it home or office, and so on. Rest assured we know how to answer your questions in a way that non-geeks can understand.
Our second blog, my personal favorite, is the Internet Marketing blog. I am very proud of the level of skill of the people in our company when it comes to Internet Marketing. It is funny how much bad information is out there. Internet marketing consultants are about as reliable as asking your twelve year old to plan your retirement for you. The real truth is that there are paid techniques that work and free techniques that work. There are also paid techniques that are a waste of time and money and there are free techniques that are not worth the effort. Then, when it comes to free techniques, whether it is worth your trouble or not depends on your capabilities.
For example, I use a fully automated link management system on our sites. It is effortless for us to create link exchange relationships. If you tried to accumulate hundreds of links doing everything by hand, you would expend weeks of mantime. We can manage your link exchange campaign for you using our automated tools and that will save you time in the long run, but will cost a bit up front. Doing it right does pay off in the long run. For the sceptics that say that link exchanges are not effective ... they are mistaken. They simply don't realize there are techniques that will deliver traffic to your website.
