The HELP.EXE program should only be downloaded at the request of our staff.

If your computer can still connect to the Internet, then it is likely that we can provide technical support by connecting to your computer remotely. It is a simple process in most cases.

1. Click HERE to download the HELP.EXE program.

2. When prompted to SAVE or OPEN, choose SAVE and save it to your DESKTOP.

3. Double-click on the program on your desktop. It is called HELP.EXE.

4. It will connect to my computer automatically. I will be able to see your desktop. When I finish my work, I will uninstall it for you.

5. If you keep the HELP.EXE program on your desktop, all you have to do is to run that program anytime you need assistance. But call me first so I can set my computer to answer your call for help.

Panda ActiveScan - (FREE) Online virus, malware, spyware scanner. Scanning is free, removal of some items required paid version. Paid version of ActiveScan (online) is affordable. I do NOT recommend the full Panda downloaded product because it slows your computer down. Use AVG Free for normal use and scan using this tool periodically as a comprehensive backup scan. If you purchase the ActiveScan (online), it is cheaper and does not slow down your computer.

Spybot Search & Destroy - (FREE) Spybot - Search & Destroy can detect and remove spyware of different kinds from your computer.

HiJackThis - (FREE) HijackThis lists the contents of key areas of the Registry and hard drive--areas that are used by both legitimate programmers and hijackers. The program is continually updated to detect and remove new hijacks. (Advanced Users Only)

SymNRT - (FREE) SymNRT is a program that can remove some Norton software from your computer. SymNRT runs on Windows XP/2000/Me/98. Begin with "Can I use SymNRT," and you will be told what to do next.
